Ongoing Assessment Opportunities - Some of the problems within sections allow teachers to informally assess students. The Summary at the end of each section includes problems that allow students to apply what they have learned to a new problem context, and these problems can be useful for informal assessment.
End-of-Unit Assessment Opportunities - More formal assessment opportunities are provided in the End-of-Unit assessments.
Other Types of Assessment - Other options include student self-evaluation, portfolio assessment, and teacher-created assessments.
